Disable PC Card removal warnings
Windows will issue at least one warning if you will remove a PCMCIA card from its socket without stopping it first.
You can disable this behavior by editing a registry value.
Start the Registry editor by typing regedit.exe in a Run.. window, then go to the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\ SysTray
Double click on the PCMCIAFlags entry or create a new DWORD value with this name and set the new value to 0 (1 enables the warnings). From this point, you should no longer receive any warnings when devices are removed without stopping them first.
