Apple Sued By Burst.com For Patent Infringement
Apple is sued by a company called Burst.com that claims it owns patents in regards to content delivery technology used in iTunes.
The delivery mechanism used in iTunes is often found in other general purpose applications and do not exploit any special techniques.
Burst.com does not agree with this and mentions that in a previous trial, it has managed to receive a payment of about $60 million from Microsoft.
